Trying to suck up to her for a promotion, Casey took Beth to lunch in Boston. While at the airport, Brian saw Beth and pestered Casey to set them up. Although she was worry about Brian souring her relationship with Beth, Casey agreed to set them up. Brian and Beth both like each other, but after going on a few dates, Brian dumped Beth because he had fallen in love with "R.", the mysterious writer of letters to Kyle Vane (Ms. Write).
