After Larry accepted the job to build Joe and Helen house, Cathy left him for beingtoo dedicated to his work. When she showed at the Hacketts up to drop off his possessions, Joe and Helen were able to get them to reconcile but that also meant they were moving to Miami to open a restaurant (What About Larry?).
