Exterior of 612 Elm Street
The Chapel House was a two-story residence located at 612 Elm Street on Nantucket, Massachusetts. At one time, Lowell confuses it with 614 Elm Street. The structure was once the home of the Chapel Family with Helen Chapel continuing to live in it afterward. Her bedroom is on the top left hand side of the house. When her sister, Casey Chapel, moves in, she takes another bedroom. It is not known how many bedrooms and bathrooms are in it.
History[]
Not much is revealed about the history or past tenants of the house prior to the Chapel Family. After her parents retired and her sister(s) got married, Helen lived here alone. Both Joe Hackett and Brian Hackett visited her often here. In 1994, Casey moved in with Helen after arriving on the island. Carlton Blanchard also conned himself into staying here after falsely magnifying a minor injury here on his surprise 70th birthday party.
In 1995, Brian and Casey accidentally burned down the house while distracted with sex. The loss was a huge shock to Helen, and despite trying to rebuild, they eventually chose to buy a new house after living with Brian and Casey at his old house (Burnin' Down the House 2).
