Dave Gardner was a medical courier from Nantucket. He was played by Josh Mostel.
Bio[]
After losing 80 pounds, Dave's wife left him because she couldn't accept the "new slim" Dave. But on Halloween 1996, Marge called Dave wanting to meet him at their favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, Dave was in the middle of transporting semen of racehorse named "Nelson's Heart" from Nantucket to Boston, but with some encouragement from Joe and Brian, Dave left the airport to reconcile with his wife. However, he accidently left his cooler behind. Mistakenly believing the cooler contained a human heart, the crew spend the night frantically trying to find Dave and the heart recipient. When Dave serendipitously got into Antonio's cab, he explained what was actually in the cooler.
