After a 10 year long relationship, David Barnes was going to marry Melissa Williams on Valentine's Day on Nantucket. However, on February 14th, 1996, Michelle fell in love with Brian on her flight from Boston. Although she decided not to get married, she almost immediately reverse her decision when they land and she sees her fiancé.
