Wings

George Cochran was Fay Cochran's third husband. He was played by Sam Shamshak.

Bio[]

George Cochran met Fay Evelyn DeVay in a hotel in Reno where they woke up to find that they were married. Despite this rocky start, Fay learned to love him (Let's Call the Whole Thing Off). When George moved in with Fay, he turned George's den into a sewing room and created some clothes for Fay (Sleepless in Nantucket).

George and Fay lived on Nantucket for some time and owned a boat. Every year at Christmas, George would spend weeks decorating his boat for the Christmas Boat Parade, but would always lose to Frank, who would gloat about it. After George's death, Fay sold the boat (A Terminal Christmas).

George died at home while watching TV sometime in early 1990. After George passed away, Fay kept all his thing just as they were (the TV still on the channel he left it, his dentures still soaking in a cup, his book open to where he left it) in an effort to make it feel like he wasn't really gone. George was cremated and wanted his ashes scattered at sea, but Fay kept his ashes in a cookie jar because she couldn't let him go (A Terminal Christmas).

On Christmas day 1990, the gang came by Fay's expecting a party after their plans fell threw, but Fay was still at home alone mourning George as this was her first Christmas without him. After discovering George's ashes they suggest using the plane to scatter his ashes at sea as were his wishes. Although she was initially reluctant, Fay did let George go (A Terminal Christmas).

In Fay There, Georgy Girl, after Fay sold their old belongs, all three of her Georges began haunting her demanding that she get their stuff back. Fay initially went along with their demands, but eventually realized that even though she still loved them all, she couldn't continue to live in the past.
