Gwendolyn Suzanne Holmes (better known Gwen Holmes) was a woman briefly engaged to Brian Hackett. She was played by Lisa Darr.

Gwen Holmes was wealthy heiress Brian Hackett met one night after being kicked out of the house by Joe and Helen. The pair flew to Paris that night and upon arriving back in Nantucket, they announced they were getting married while skydiving on Sunday. Joe and Brian initially tried to talk Brian out of it, but then were swept up by Gwen's enthusiasm and charisma and convince to also get married and even moved up the date to Saturday. However, right before they were about to tie the knot, Gwen decide not getting married at your own wedding was the most spontaneous thing to do and Brian agreed. They did skydive though (Love Means Never Having to Say Geronimo).
