In the eight seasons that Wings was on the air, we've had a number of interesting and unique characters visit the island. Below is a partial list of some of the people who have come into our lives.

• Mitch - Attractive male customer at Helen's Lunch Counter that Joe jealousy scared off by lying that Helen being a trans woman in A Tale of Two Sister Cities.

• Peter Michael Stanley. - Passenger on Sandpiper Air that demand his luggage be returned. His initials are P.M.S. and he was credited as "Luggage Man" in Joe Blows (Part 1). He seems aware of the jokes associated with his initials. He threatens Joe that he is a powerful man who has the cash and credit to turn out Sandpiper's lights, which mirrors Eleanor Kingsbury actually doing that to Joe's predecessor.
• Norm Peterson
• Phil - Bunny's date for Walter and Ramona's wedding. He drove a Porsche.
• Phil - Married man that came to Nantucket to have an affair and left his phone in Antonio's cab. With Phil phone, Antonio began talking to his wife Betty trying to help her through her affair. When Antonio met Phil again he shamed him into going back to his wife (Bye-Bye, Bunny).

• Special Agent Stark - One of the F.B.I. agents assisting Lowell Mather after he witnessed a mob hit by Bobby Lasko (The Person Formerly Known as Lowell).
• Stephanie - Lingerie saleswoman who dates Brian (Looking for Love in the All the Wrong Places).
• Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane
• Susan - Woman that visited the island in the early 1990s where she dated Brian. Initially Brian was very attentive and affectionate, but after they slept together, he stopped calling. When Susan called his house, Joe told her that Brian move to Arizona because of his sinuses (Stop in the Name of Love).

• Tiffany - One of the models visiting Nantucket with Vi (Exclusively Yours).
• Carl Thorley - Provincetown native visiting his brother, who wanders into Joe's office (Murder She Roast).
