Quotes[]
- Joe Hackett - "So, is there some kind of occasion that we're celebrating here?"
Alex Lambert - "No."
Joe Hackett - "You have to admit, this is a little bit weird. I mean, ever since you came to the airport you've barely given me the time of day."
Alex Lambert - "It's 12:30. Cheers."
- Helen Chapel - "I bet they did it."
Fay Cochran - "Did what?"
Antonio Scarpacci - "The wild thing."
Brian Hackett - "We're talking about Joe here. With him it's just the thing".
Fay Cochran - "This is embarrassing"
Helen Chapel - "Oh, I'm sorry Fay. We're all being very crude."
Fay Cochran - "No, you're being vague. I don't have any idea what you're talking about."
- Helen Chapel - "Well, the word is out that you and Joe got together last night."
Alex Lambert - "It is?"
Helen Chapel - "Yeah, but that's all anybody really knows. Oh, that's a small town for you. Everybody in everybody else's business."
Alex Lambert - "Yeah."
Helen Chapel - "Boy, and I only tell you this because I feel we've gotten to be such buddies."
Alex Lambert - "We sure have."
Helen Chapel - "So anything that you feel like you need to say or unburden yourself, just... Say it.
Alex Lambert - "That's great."
Helen Chapel - "Day or night."
Alex Lambert - "Uh-huh."
Helen Chapel - "Boy, I'd be right here for you."
Alex Lambert - "So you're saying I could tell you anything, no matter how personal?"
Helen Chapel - "Oh, absolutely."
Alex Lambert - "Well... Okay. Helen, I've heard some people talking."
Helen Chapel - "Yes."
Alex Lambert - "And no one seems to like what your doing with you hair."
- Brian Hackett - "Antonio, did you find anything out?"
Antonio Scarpacci - "Okay, okay, I spoke to the other cabbies. Joe's jeep was placed outside Alex's building no earlier than midnight and no later than 2:30. Footprints leading to the car indicate he must have left between 2 and 4, because they were filled with rainwater. Which leads me to the inescapable conclusion... That I have got to get a life!"
