Larry Mohr was a contractor hired by Joe and Helen to build their new home. He was played by Mark Blum.
Bio[]
After interviewing several eccentric contractor candidates to build their new home, Joe and Helen were thrilled to hire Larry Mohr, who seemed reliable and hardworking. Unfortunately, Larry's wife left him shortly thereafter because he was too dedicated to his work. With nowhere else to go, Larry ended up staying on the Hacketts' sofa. While Helen was sympathetic, Joe wanted him back to work on their house. To cheer him up, Helen tried to throw him a surprise party for his 40th birthday, but none of his friends showed up forcing Helen to recruit Casey, Antonio, Fay, and Roy to come to the party. When Cathy, Larry's wife, showed up to drop off his possessions, Joe and Helen were able to get them to reconcile but that also meant they were moving to Miami to open a restaurant (What About Larry?).
Trivia[]
- When Brian reluctantly offered this shrimp moo goo gai pan to him as a birthday gift, Larry revealed that he's allergic to shellfish (What About Larry?).
- Since Larry's 40th birthday was in early 1996, he was born in 1956 (What About Larry?).
