Synopsis[]

As Helen buses a table, Antonio enters the terminal and tells her he saw Fay shoplift a lipstick last night at the drugstore. Helen expresses doubt and Fay enters wearing red lipstick. Helen compliments her lipstick and asks if its new and Fay responds that it is new and it just called out to her in the store.

Sitting at the lunch counter, Antonio watches Fay from across the terminal. When Helen again expresses doubt, Antonio leaves to secure his locker and Helen looks as if she is beginning to question her faith in Fay's innocents. Casey enters and asks for Helen's wedding ring so she can have it appraise with the rest of her jewelry and Fay comes to the counter to see what their doing. Unaware of Helen's apprehension, Casey show all the jewelry to Fay. Trying to act nonchalant, Helen hurries Casey out with the jewelry.

In Joe's office, Joe works at his desk when Brian enters complaining that he is still single and has just received the invitation to Dave McCall's wedding, his last single friend. Joe is shocked that Dave did not send him an invite (since Dave met Brian through Joe). As Brian continues to complain about his single life, Joe continues to spiral about not being invited until Roy enters asking if either of them are going to the McCall wedding. Brian vows to turn over a new leaf in his dating life and he a Roy share a touching (but awkward) moment. When Brian asks Joe for reassurement, Joe still can't get passed not being invited to Dave's wedding.

The next day, Joe enters the terminal as Helen is stuffing a chicken. Helen asks if he had any luck finding the wedding invitation. Joe says he still has not found it despiting going to the post office and making them look again. Joe continues that when they couldn't find it, he asked if he could look and when they said no he became "belligerent". Helen tells Joe that he is overreacting and needs calm down as she hides cash inside a chicken so Fay won't steal it on her break. As Helen exits into the kitchen, Brian enters talking about how he just met the perfect woman on his flight from Boston. When Joe sees how beautiful she is, Joe assumes that Brian is going to just sleep with her and dump her. Hurt, Brian tells Joe that he's an usher at Dave's wedding.

That evening at a classy restaurant, Brian is seated at a table with Dani who is surprised he picked a place she has been anxious to visit. Brian and Dani start to have a conversation until Dani is shocked that they have breadsticks. As Brian shares that he's looking to settle down, Dani shares that she's a temp and calls him "Bri-Bri" much to Brian's annoyance. Dani then seriously asks Brian if she can have his breadsticks and starts loudly singing "Up Where We Belong" (with the incorrect lyrics) that is being played on the piano. When Brian tries to get Dani to finish his sentence about how to spend a Sunday morning, she miss interprets it as baby talk and engages in obnoxious baby talk. When Brian tries to tell her he's not feel a connection he instead tells her that he also loves this song and they both start loudly singing "Up Where We Belong".

Days later, Antonio read the newspaper and comments that a Monet was stolen from the Boston Museum of Fine Art last night and wonders aloud about Fay's alibi. Helen tells Antonio to just ask Fay exactly what happened in the drugstore and he walks to the Sandpiper ticket counter. Starting of tactfully, Antonio ends with blurting out "Why'd ya steal it?!". Fay admits that she did steal the lipstick for the rush. Meanwhile, Roy enters with a wedding gift and tells Joe that it was the last item on the gift list, so everyone must have been invited to the wedding. Hurt Joe enters his office and sees Brian massaging his ankle. Brian explains that he injured in while country western dancing with Dani last night. When Joe guesses that the sex must be good if Brian would do that, Brian admits that he has still not slept with Dani because he wants to take it slow. But he also HATES her. After listing her many faults, Brian is determined that he needs to break up with her no matter how attractive she is. Joe is impressed that Brian actually is growing and Brian plans to end things with Dani tonight.

Later that same day, Dave arrive at the airport. Apparently, Joe and Helen's invitation fell under the car seats and he has come to deliver it in person. Meanwhile, Joe is in his office leaving an irritated voice message for Dave tell him that he hates him. After hanging up, Dave knocks on the office door and enters.

That night, Brian arrives at Dani's apartment. Brian tries to end things, but Dani immediately becomes physical, testing Brian's will power. Brian continues to rapidly alternate between being physically attracted to her and extremely annoy with her. As Brian final works up the muster to break up he ask for "a glass of..." and Dani finishes his sentence "water?" Excited that she finished his sentence and could be the one, they enter her bedroom. But as Dani begins to loudly and incorrectly sing "Up Where We Belong", Brian runs out with his shirt half unbuttoned.

As the credits roll, Fay is seated with Casey at a table in the airport talking about how she will never shoplift again and is just glad she didn't get caught. As they talk, Antonio angrily enters in an orange jumpsuit picking up trash as part of his 200 hours of community service for shoplifting a pair of tweezers.
