Quotes[]
- Antonio Scarpacci - "Oh, hey, by the way, do you know anyone named Kyle Vane?"
Brian Hackett - "Uh...no. Why?"
Antonio Scarpacci - "Well, this letter came to the house for him. There's no return address."
Brian Hackett - "It's probably a previous tenant. Cool name, though, huh? Kyle Vane. Hello! My name is Kyle Vane!"
Antonio Scarpacci - "Yeah. Care to riff on the gas bill?"
- Fay Cochran - "Oh, wow, you've got a black eye."
Joe Hackett - "Really, Fay? Gee, I hadn't noticed."
Fay Cochran - "Well, maybe if you dropped the attitude, people wouldn't want to punch your lights out."
- Casey Davenport - "So, I'm working on getting a promotion. I don't want to be a perfume spritzer the rest of my life. There's an opening in men's underwear."
Brian Hackett - "You're just finding that out now?"
- Casey Davenport - "Now, remember, I don't want to make you nervous, but my entire future at the department store rests on your shoulders, so tonight, okay, whatever you do, be charming, have a good time and at the end of the evening when you say good night, lean in close and whisper, "Casey belongs in men's underwear"."
- Antonio Scarpacci - "Before I forget, oh, I have something I need you to sign. I took the liberty of writing a letter of recommendation to pass on to new clients."
Joe Hackett - ""Antonio Scarpacci is not just a handyman, he's a visionary whose work reflects a unique combination of modern technology and old-world craftsmanship"."
Antonio Scarpacci - "You slap your Joe Hancock on there, and I'm in business."
Joe Hackett - "Okay. Do you mind if I make a few little adjustments first?"
Antonio Scarpacci - "Oh, please, gush away."
Joe Hackett - "Okay. "Antonio Scarpacci is not just a handyman," Alright, let's get rid of this "just". "Antonio Scarpacci is not a handyman,". Okay. Now about this "visionary" line. Let's just amend that to read: "You'd be better off hiring a chimp"." he's a visionary whose work reflects a unique combination of modern technology and old-world craftsmanship".
Helen Hackett - "No problem signing that. All righty. All the best to you."
Antonio Scarpacci - "Well, it's a little long for the yellow pages, but, uh, I can probably pull a quote or two."
- Casey Davenport - "You! I'm going to kill you! I begged you not to screw this up for me. What kind of lunatic dumps a real woman for some kind of psychotic fantasy?"
Brian Hackett - "Hey, hey, hey! We're talking about the woman I love!"
- Rebecca Burton - "You read my letters? Oh God. Now I have to move to, like, France."
Brian Hackett - "If there's anyone who has to move to "like France" it's me."
Trivia[]
- Brian reveals that his favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye. Rebecca Burton also like this book.
- Fay mentions that her third husband George is in a cookie jar in her rumpus room. However, although George's ashes were kept in a cookie jar for a time, Fay spread his ashes at sea (in a DustBuster) in A Terminal Christmas.
- Brian's childish mannerism of nervously brushing his hair behind his ear was also seen when initially speaking with Laurie Jenkins in Miss Jenkins.
