Quotes[]
- Antonio Scarpacci - "This is interesting. It says here that 75% of all people who work together eventually become romantically involved."
Fay Cochran - "75%?"
Roy Biggins - "That can't be right. Let me see that. Damn, that's what it says, all right."
Lowell Mather - "Well, think about it for a second. Joe and Helen work here and they used to be in a relationship. Brian and Alex work here and they're dating now. That four out of eight. That's damn near 50% right there."
Antonio Scarpacci - "If that static is correct then that means that two of us will..."
Fay Cochran - "You could do a lot worse."
- Brian Hackett - "Lowell, we're not going to beat around the bush. Joe has something he wants to tell you."
Lowell Mather - "Yeah Joe."
Joe Hackett - "Lowell, Brian and I have been talking, and, um, we think it's time for you to find a place of your own."
Lowell Mather - "What do you mean?"
Joe Hackett - "It's about all your rules and regulations."
Brian Hackett - "Yeah, we know you mean well, but Joe and I would sort of like to go back to the way it was before you moved in."
Lowell Mather - "What do you mean?"
Brian Hackett - "When we lived there, and you didn't."
Lowell Mather - "You know, if somebody were to walk in here right now they might think you guys didn't want me to live with you anymore."
Joe Hackett - "We don't."
Brian Hackett - "We want you to find your own place."
Joe Hackett - "Yeah, we want you to move out."
Lowell Mather - "I'm getting mixed signals here."
Joe Hackett - "Move out."
Lowell Mather - "Well, you don't have to tell Lowell Mather twice."
- Antonio Scarpacci - "I'm sitting on the couch with my date, a perfectly lovely woman once you get past her really big face, and we are enjoying--"
Brian Hackett - "Wait a minute, wait a second, wow, wow, wow, wow. What do you mean "really big face"?"
Antonio Scarpacci - "You know, when you look at the place where a person's face usually is there's face, but on her, when you look to each side there's...more face."
- Antonio Scarpacci - "Oh, who am I kidding? I can't get over the face. It's like making love to a jack-'o-lantern."
- Brian Hackett - "Antonio. Your girlfriend. Even if her face is as big as a stop sign don't let her get away."
Trivia[]
- The title of this episode is a play on the lyrics of "Home on the Range".
- Brian sank Lowell's houseboat back in It's So Nice to Have a Mather Around the House.
- Edna (The Big Faced Girl) is first mentioned though she's erroneously called "Denise".
- Roy Biggins reveals that he has an older brother named Earl. However, he does say it's a "bogus dead Earl story" which may imply that Earl is not dead or that he was completely fictional. However, Roy does have a niece, Lydia Biggins, which implies he does in fact have a brother.
