Trivia[]
- This is the second episode in the series to feature characters from Cheers. Norm Peterson and Cliff Clavin previously appeared in the season two episode The Story of Joe.
- Near the end of the episode, Joe refers to Lilith as "Morticia". Bebe Neuwirth, who portrayed Lilith, later played the role of Morticia Addams in the original cast of the 2010 Broadway musical The Addams Family.
- For his performance in this episode, Kelsey Grammer was nominated in 1992 for an "Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series" Emmy. This nomination has made Grammer the only actor to be Emmy nominated for the same role on three different series (Cheers, Wings, and Frasier). Grammer went on to win four "Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series" Emmys for his work on Frasier.
