Bio[]
While attending Siasconset High School, Shannon Moss and Brian Hackett dated off-and-on. However, their dating was always on Shannon's terms as she was the only woman Brian was ever powerless with. For senior prom, Shannon and Brian were supposed to go until she dumped him at the last minute because she got a better offer. However, she did talk Brian into driving her and her new date to the prom (Just Say No).
After graduating from high school, Shannon became a lawyer and moved to New York City. After living with her boyfriend Mark for two years, he left her for another woman named Melissa. A week after the break up, Shannon came to Nantucket and immediately began flirting with Brian. After spending one night together with Brian fawning over her, Shannon was ready to return to New York where a pressing case needed her attention. Although Shannon tried to blow off Brian, she change changed her approach when she learned that her client was leaving her firm and she was being blamed for the failure. Finally able to see what Helen and Joe had been trying to tell him, Brian ended things with Shannon for good because he could see she was using him to make herself feel better. However, later that night Brian left a message on her answering machine begging her to ignore what he had said earlier and get back together with him (Just Say No).
