Siasconset High School is the local high school (7-12) on Nantucket and the alma mater of Joe Hackett, Brian Hackett, Helen Chapel, Lowell Mather, and many others.
History[]
Siasconset High School's football team is The Whalers coached by Dan Mattay in the 1970s and its basketball team was coached by Coach Snyder in the 1990s. The school's marching band is known as the Marching Mules and was led by band director Mr. Greeley in the 1990s. Other teachers here are Winston Catlough, the music teacher, and Mr. LeBeau, the French teacher.
