Synopsis[]
On Halloween, Joe and Brian convinces a man who is separated from his wife to stop being so focused on work and spend time with her. Little do they realize his career is being a medical courier and he left a cooler with one of his deliveries at the terminal. While Antonio and Helen search restaurants across the island, Casey loses the heart when some frat guys mistakenly switch coolers at the airport leaving Brian and Joe to raid a house party. Once found, the Hacketts race the cooler to Boston University Medical Center believing it is a heart for Senator Fred Bornemann. - Joe Hackett - "So, Fay...what do you think?"
Fay Cochran - "Well, uh..."
Joe Hackett - "No, no, look...I want you to be honest with me. Do I look like a complete dork?"
Fay Cochran - "Well, when you say "complete"--"
Joe Hackett - "Oh, I knew it! This is just what I get for waiting til the last minute to rent a costume."
Fay Cochran - "You mean that's all they had left?"
Joe Hackett - "It was either this or Miss Piggy."
Fay Cochran - "Well, if you hurry, I'll bet they're not closed yet."
Joe Hackett - "Forget it, Fay, I am not going to the Halloween festival dressed as a pig. Besides, it was a little tight in the butt."
- Helen Hackett - "You should be proud of losing that weight cause it's no easy. I know, cause I've been there. In high school, I was voted most likely to explode."
- Fay Cochran - "Announcing the boarding of Sandpiper Scair's 6:00 flight to Boston through gate one. Have ghoul flight."
- Brian Hackett - "Do you know what this means? It means the little wooden dork is going to miss the festival."
Joe Hackett - "You are on very thin ice with me, missy. Why don't you take the flight?"
Brian Hackett - "Because half of me feels bloated and the other half of me doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself."
- Casey Davenport - "I don't know when it was harvested, but we've got two hours max before it goes cardic. ... Doesn't anybody watch E.R.? I mean, that's just common knowledge."
- Joe Hackett - "Okay, good. Check every steakhouse, rib house, chop house, clam house, slop house, and pancake house on the island."
- Brian Hackett - "Well, we gotta do something. Because of us, there's some poor guy walking around out there without a heart."
Joe Hackett - "And there's some guy sitting here without a brain."
- Antonio Scarpacci - "Every Halloween, the same sad people with the same old, sad costumes. Skeleton...ghost...mummy...ghost...ghost...Kathie Lee."
- Joe Hackett - "First of all, I am not an old dude. Second of all, I am not Peter Pan, I am Pinocchio! Turn off MTV and crack a book for once in your lives."
Trivia[]
- The entire main cast is dressed up for Halloween:
- Both Joe and Roy considered dressing as Miss Piggy from The Muppets.
- Helen reveals that in high school she was voted "most likely to explode".
- Joe's line about checking "every steakhouse, rib house, chop house, clam house, slop house, and pancake house on the island" is an homage to Tommy Lee Jones's line as Deputy Marshall Gerard to "search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area" from The Fugitive (1993).
