Quotes[]

  • Brian Hackett - "Hey guys! Look what I just got."
Antonio Scarpacci - "Oh! New camcorder."
Joe Hackett - "Looks expensive. Where'd you get the money for that?"
Antonio Scarpacci - "Ah, Joe. Why can't you just let him enjoy that? Why do you have to be so cynical?"
Joe Hackett - "Where'd you get the money for that?"
Brian Hackett - "Sandpiper petty cash. Alright, alright, wait. Before you get so uptight, don't you even want to know why I bought this?"
Joe Hackett - Oh, this oughta be good."
Brian Hackett -"Okay. I bought it to make a wedding gift for you and Helen."
    Joe Hackett - "Wedding gift?"
Brian Hackett - "Yeah. A videotape of you and your friends telling the story of how you guys got together. You know, the whole relationship. I thought it would be something you could show you grandchildren, you know. Something the whole family would treasure."
Joe Hackett - "Wow. I don't know what to say. That's really nice of you. I'm sorry brother. Thanks."
Antonio Scarpacci - "Brian, that's a lovely, lovely idea. I'm very impressed."
Brian Hackett - "Yeah, me too. Some of the quickest thinking I've ever done. The problem is now, I gotta make this stupid thing."

  • Fay Cochran - "I knew Joe and Helen when they were "just friends", but even then I could tell they had a thing for each other. They may not have known it, but I did."

  • Fay Cochran - "Well, Joe, you've always been like a son. And Helen, you've always been like a daughter. So for me, I feel like my son and daughter are marrying each other!...Oh, wait. That's kinda sick."

  • Brian Hackett - "Okay, that's about it. That-that's my gift to you. Um, now, uh, just one more thing. To my brother Joe, um, well you're more than my brother, you're my best friend. And, um, to my other best friend, Helen, I just want to say that I couldn't be happier or prouder that you are going to be my new sister-in-law. Bah! So, um, I wish you a long and happy, happy marriage."

  • Hackett Grandson - "God, can you believe that grandma and grandpa were ever that young?"
