Trivia[]

  • Joe wants to give Helen the engagement ring on the anniversary of their first kiss. Their first kiss as seen in The Puppetmaster that aired on September 28, 1990, almost exactly four years prior to this episode airing on September 27, 1994.
  • This episode is the first appearance of Helen's sister Casey Davenport.
  • Helen states that Casey "came all the way from California" to see her and Roy states that she has a fancy house in San Francisco, but in I've Got A Secret, Helen states that Casey lives in Texas near their parents. However, this might just be a reference to Lorraine, the unseen sister first mentioned in A Terminal Christmas.
  • Casey reveals that "Casey" is short for "Cassandra" and that her mother named her after a "goddess in Greek mythology" (However, the Cassandra of Greek mythology was actually not a goddess, but rather a Trojan priestess cursed to utter true prophecies, but never to be believed). When Fay guessed that Helen must be named after "Helen of Troy," Helen reveals that she was actually named after her lactose intolerant aunt.
  • Despite growing up together, Casey no longer has an accent like Helen.
  • The recurring joke of Antonio being unable to speak to Casey makes its first appearance.
  • Casey reveals that her husband Stuart Davenport has left her. In Love Overboard, Stuart returns played by Amy Yasbeck's (then) future husband John Ritter.
  • This episode is currently unavailable for streaming in the United States likely due to the music rights for "Isn't It Romantic?".
